Langdon (HJ) and Assibey-Bonsu (TJ) Set St. Joe's College Meet Records
Both freshmen jumpers also lead nation in their events.
Micah Assibey-Bonsu won the triple jump with a jump of 14.25 (46'9"), setting the meet record and qualifying for nationals.
The Suffolk CC men swept the long jump with 4 national meet qualifiers. Mark Jackson 6.75m (22'1.75"), Malik Hinds 6.67m (21'10.75"), Connor Langdon 6.58m (21'7.25"), and Nick Pusey 6.34m (20'9.75").
Connor Langdon (15.26 seconds, meet record) and Malik Hinds (15.86 seconds) took 1-2 in the 110 hurdles, both qualifying for nationals in their second event of the day.
Connor Langdon and Mark Jackson took 1-2 in the high jump, both qualifying for nationals. Connor Langdon set the meet record and tied the Suffolk CC school record with a jump of 2.03m (6'8"). Mark Jackson placed second with a jump of 1.98m (6'6").
Chloe Russell won the 100m hurdles (17.55 seconds) and placed second in the high jump. She qualified for nationals in both events. Bethany Cruz won the high jump and qualified for nationals. Faith Zelaya placed 2nd in the long jump and qualified for nationals.
