Track & Field's Jumpers Continue to Soar at Ramapo College
Dannie Holland jumped his personal best of 14.88 meters in the triple jump, placing first in the competition and setting the meet record. Holland also placed 4th in the men's long jump with a leap of 6.66 meters.
In the men's long jump, Blake Evans placed second with a jump of 6.84 meters and Freshman Galvin Biggs jumped a personal best of 6.38 meters. Freshmen Daquan Vanable and Majestic Temple both hit the standard for the national meet in the long jump.
Mackenzie Vickers jumped a season best in the long jump of 5.58 meters. She also ran a 13.12 in the 100 meters, qualifying her for the national meet.
Freshman Devin Porter ran a PR and hit the national qualifying standard in the 800m with a time of 2:04.44. Genevieve Kuczewski hit the national standard in the 400m with a time of 1:06.03.
