Leana Wiebelt Named Women's National XC Runner of the Week

Freshman Leana Wiebelt was named Women's National Runner of the Week by the NJCAA Hill N' Dale newsletter for her performance at the CCRI Northeast Invitational in Rhode Island on Saturday, November 1^st. She ran the 5K course in 20:32, her second fastest time ever at the distance, and was the top Division III finisher.

Bernadette Calabrese, Ashlee Rommeney, and Melanie Sterling (center, l. to r.) were also medal winners for the women's XC team.

The team (ranked 8th nationally and runners-up at Regionals) will compete at the NJCAA Div. III National Championship in Canandaigua, NY on Saturday, November 8^th.
